Obelisks weigh a good deal more than 70 tons and the Romans didn't have much trouble moving them from Egypt to Rome and raising them there. We have records that describe part of the process of moving them. They used two big ships per obelisk. They sailed next to each other and had wooden beams between them. The obelisk would be under water, tied to the wooden beams.

Some of the obelisks weigh 200 tons more than that.

@drewcama5481 On Saint Peter's Square, for example. They do indeed. Many of them have their own wikipedia pages. There's also a wikipedia page with all of the ones in Rome. You seem to be very curious. Have you heard of Google? I'm sure it'll be very handy the next time you are curious.
