  9. You might need to be on medication. EV’s don’t use that much copper. The tech is vastly different now, with much better (and cheaper) batteries, and much better transistors in the motor controllers (the devices that send electricity from the battery to the various electromagnets in the motors). Power electronics are much, much better now than just ten years ago! Electric cars are also more efficient than petrol and diesel cars… basic physics, actually.
