His friends said he definitely would have told them if he was. He worked at a restaurant she and her family frequented. They were friends. He was returning some glasses that were left at the restaurant. They didn't live together.

But those people want 10 pounds of blood for an ounce of harm. King was a repeat criminal. Denny was just trying to do his job. They also were screaming outside the courthouse and could be heard inside. They threatened the jurors, and harrassed people going in and out. It was shameful.

The jury members (after they saw the evidence that was not given to the jury, the ones who agreed to an interview) all said they would have convicted him, if they knew all the facts. (Yes, even the black ones). They were all upset about what they had done. You can tell some of them were crushed.
