  5.  @ceejw  They're *just*having sex? Kind of a cheap attitude. Why do people do anything with consequences? No one wants negative consequences (like having sex and not wanting a baby, but getting one anyway)? "I wanna have sex because it's fun." "I wanna rob a bank because I want money." "I wanna ki*ll my friend because he made me mad." Each has possible consequences, and it's immature to not realize that and be prepared to deal with it.

Intercourse is voluntary and comes with side effects.

  28. A failed implantation has never been considered a miscarry or an abortion. A baby has to 1st be viable. An unimplanted zygote is not viable.

  32.  @ceejw  I don't think that people having irresponsible, unprotected sex is good for individuals or society. It comes down to, is the family unit important to society. So many things about casual sex is detrimental to the building and cohesion of the family. I can be pro life and support birth control. Pro-life isn't against preventing a life. Pro life is about not killing one. According to you, people should be forced to have children. (There may be some who disagree with my definition of pro-life. This is my POV).

The same goes for having sex and dealing with the consequences without killing someone. Don't drive if you can't cope with an accident. Don't have sex if you can't cope with a child. You can't m*rder the guy who caused you to have an accident and steal his money to make it right, and you can't kill an inconvenient baby to make your troubles go away.

As far as pregnancy compared to abortion, they both carry risks, the same as many common human endeavors. Everything from driving a car to cosmetic surgery. The long-term psychological damage to many women from having an abortion without even being aware of the truth of what has happened and then later in life coming to the realization they intentionally ended a human life is devastating. The truth of an abortion is hidden from those contemplating an abortion, but the facts cannot be hidden forever. Sanitizing the reality of a killing does not make it palatable.
