@AldemargK That is why we aren't in danger. We can defend ourselves, and everybody knows it. Guns for fun? Protecting your family is fun? I call it necessary and a responsibility.

@Arcaryon Why are you making this a U.S. problem? Why should we care about a country who does nothing to keep their own criminals from flooding over the border to us? Just send money? Do you know how little of that money actually goes towards the actual problem once it trickles down? I really don't think we should reward government officials for doing a cr*ppy job of governing. Do you have any idea what our national debt is? How about some of our "allies" helping us out with that? How about Mexico helping us with our illegal alien problem?

@jennali9800 Your point was to single out one type of weapon and make it sound worse than other weapons. Kind of a dumb comment about kids trying to survive deadly attacks by crazy people.
