@johnathanfaircloth9639 Education in America is a source of division. Some don't believe in knowledge. Actual conversation doesn't raise us all to the same level. Some will not listen or change. We need to educate & address the mentally ill.

@johnathanfaircloth9639 True. But there is some amount of continued education assumed in the military. I trust education as opposed to empty mouthing of rhetoric. It doesn't always work out. Nothing does, but I can ascertain & admit when I'm in more qualified company. I prefer to surround myself with smarter people. They are problem solvers.

Bad times create strong and Moral people. Strong and moral people create prosperity and peace. Prosperity and peace create Greedy, Lazy (in thought and Action), Power Hungry Monsters like Trump. Monsters like Trump create BAD TIMES... This is all intelligent people mean when they say "history repeats itself". They don't mean the exact same circumstances that caused the last "Great Depression, Terror Attack, or World War", will happen again. They have just recognized the truth in the pattern above. And believe me, I am not the first to take note of this. People have known it for as long as we have lived in communities. The real tragedy is that people like Trump take advantage of this pattern and nurse it along to get what they want and to hell with everyone else. Lack of education and critical thinking skills leads a very large majority into knee bending and hero worship. Something totally antithetical to the American Spirit, or so we thought. Apparently America is not a nation of rugged individualists, they were just waiting for the RIGHT con man to come along.
