  1. I'm so happy that BTS got nominated again, HOWEVER, I'm also insanely disappointed in the Grammys because BTS worked so damn hard, achieved so much, and deserved so much more than what they received from the "Academy".

  2. The excuse of low birth rate makes zero sense and points to more of the un-evovlement with the times. If birth rate is an issue, why bother granting any able bodied male exemption at all? BTS have all said that when they're called, they're going; From outsiders looking in, it seems wholly unfair that the band have to serve at all given the achievements they've gotten, the prestige they've brought to the country, the representation of Korean Culture, and the contribution to the country's economy while others who many KNets have said they don't even know have gotten exemption. If any opposition was worried about the rules becoming too lax, then define the rules for the KPop world, what constitutes such notable achievements that exemption can be granted and taken? Aren't they the law makers? Figure it out.

  3. SK Government need to back off. We know the deal, SK Government wants BTS to perform so that the money goes into their pockets and not the boys' pocket. You want them to serve and perform. Get outta here. Let them serve like everyone else, it's what they feel is best to do and I'm proud that they did it. 2025 is not that far away and with stuff coming up for at least the next 8 months, it's not gonna be that quiet as an Army.

I honestly think that if they got a Grammy for one of their Korean songs that'd be amazing, HOWEVER, I think Butter did amazing and the fact that it out did all the other songs in the ROTY and SOTY category miffs a lot of us. If they had gotten the Grammy for this, it wouldn't be any less amazing as they poured their heart into the music.

Until the company themselves confirm where he's going, let's take it with a grain of salt. (We know that he did surgery and PT in hopes of serving as an active duty soldier, from what the company said about his surgery a few years ago, but the results are between him and his doctor). Prepare for the possibility that that will be the case, but don't confirm as fact just yet.

  6. I also disagree that it's just about Artistry and not commercialism. BTS have proven themselves, in my opinion, that they have amazing Artistry.

Thank you, only you and one other News outlet actually reported BTS not getting the Grammy nicely, kindly, and didn't make it out that you were happy, (or sad), at their loss or calling them failures. That is appreciated. And agreed, there is always next year and it's still awesome that they got nominated while breaking all sorts of records with Dynamite. Also, Congrats!!! to violist Richard, that is awesome that he got it for Best Classical.
