  1. I agree with you ... there are some groups in America that want a cold war with Russia. Maybe it's because: a series of proxy hot wars haven't worked out too well; or they just need some enemy/ threat for funding purposes; or it's a distraction; or even some grudge from WW2, but they want it and Trump was not their ideal candidate. I strongly agree that there seems little difference between the two "moneyed" parties. Both are right wing capitalist; one slightly further to the right ... so there is nothing particularly"leftist" or "liberal" about either and most of their (petty) squabbles are just for show as we see them rally together when it suits them. The last one was both parties signing over more powers to the President; so much for all that Democrat talk about Trump being a danger and the Republican party does it too. However I'm also reminded of a business "truism", which is "Never confuse a memo with reality". I would expect the anti-Trump brigade will view this in the same way that the Trump brigade view the latest scandal dug up about Trump. Coincidentally perhaps: both seem to involve allegations of misapplying campaign funding; those for and against: Trump; the Cold war or even just those who like to kick up dust appears to listen to the narrative that suits them and avoids the ones that don't. That's called "confirmation bias" and I'm sure we all do this ... it's a sort of brand loyalty or it can be called living in denial; maybe it's a choice between unpleasant truths or pleasant lies ... I would say both sides in this Trump v The Cold war dispute appear to be playing for keeps; there are others, but this one seems perfectly vicious and even other countries find the rhetoric being used to be disturbing, as military and economic actions by America, cause reactions. I won't go as far as to say America has an enemy within; I'm not sure how the American voter can resolve this "whateveritis" as it's just a spectator sport even though we all have ringside seats. I don't think it is useful to reveal yet another mechanism for manipulation ... leak something then claim it backs up what you say. in an era where there is a derogatory name for everything, I invite suggestions for this "Chaneyism" (but don't use his first name or you'll likely get censored). Really if some group offered me tens of millions to mock up a dossier, when being anti-Trump (or even pro-Trump) that I'd have probably done for free; well I'd have to give that serious consideration. I'm not saying we all have a price, because that's when the rot sets in but there are plenty of representatives for unsavoury groups; I just don't think we can really blame the British secret agent; who is no longer a British secret agent and if I were him I'd be writing my memoirs ('cause half of America would like another book about Trump). Well the show goes on ... both sides stand worse ... because they both: speak; act and behave like a bunch of crooks; there I've said it. Of course there should be much more to America than just two political parties; but their media chunders out their message but this is all very negative. Later on they all forgive each other sins because really it's all about the money.
