Paid Government Shill First of all Bernie Sanders isn't a socialist; outside of America (in the real world) he would be called a Liberal (centre) and as we have seen the Democrats won't run a Liberal candidate. You seem keen to ignore actual socialism, presumably because it gets in the way of your trolling. 24 hour fire service; primary and secondary education and pensions; these are all socialist concepts and yes somebody has to pay for them (they are not free; that mis-categorisation is simply right-wing "fake news"). That somebody is you and I; that's regarded in socialism as the individuals responsibility to society along with funding: the police; healthcare and government. If you want to talk about theft; try the companies the "avoid" tax as the taxpayer has to make up the shortfall. The big companies who offer government money or payment in kind are simply corrupt as are those in government who accept these bribes. At the moment they see no problem with this; they don't want (or need) socialism; because they are screwing you quite nicely as it is. Get the picture now?

Jonathon Poppleton  It's an open secret that Germany (and America) will protect its car manufacturing sector financially and Japan by telling their car manufacturers the new regulations ahead of time. That might be called protectionism, but it's not really feudalism because there are shareholders rather than a lord or King who controls it all. A better name might be "mercantilism" (def: the economic theory that trade generates wealth and is stimulated by the accumulation of profitable balances, which a government should encourage by means of protectionism). Only I suspect, in America, large companies and groups are giving money to government in order to get legislation that helps them. If that is the case then sorry to say but that's the short road to fascism.
