The Unbelievable Russian Dude, back with his clickbait and visible glee over the deaths of his fellow countrymen (what an bad act!).

@global.citizens Show me the 6,000+ tanks Ukraine claims to have destroyed, or understand this chap is a fraud; he's said It's over so many times... the little boy...

@global.citizens The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (on January 7th 2024) claim that Russia has lost: 6,022 tanks; 11,180 armored vehicles; 324 helicopters and 364,730 (personnel eliminated) etc since February 24 2022. Traditionally the individual losses are added together; so either they can't count or (like "The Unbelievable Russian Dude") they are not telling the truth. More reliable outlets: seem to agree Russia had just under 3,000 tanks in Feb 2022; claim a production rate of around 250 a year; somebody isn't telling the truth; guess who.

The Rouble has actually gone up in value against the dollar (although nobody really uses that exchange mechanism now, except tourists); while I don't think the Russian strategy is to take ground (although Odessa is of cultural significance to Russia), they already occupy the mainly Russian speaking "breakaway" regions (that voted for independence in 2014). What Russia seems to be doing is destroying the investments made by foreign companies: who took control of Ukrainian agriculture and the gas pipeline (from Russia to EU) and I doubt the rebuilding contract (America awarded itself) is going to be worth much. (Ever wonder why America was so opposed to alternative gas routes from Russia to the EU?) The millions of hectares of prime farmland the transnational corporations got hold of are full of mines and cluster munitions; port grain loading facilities destroyed; research labs (40+ possibly GM crops) either closed or destroyed; the gas pipeline closed... it seems Russia is "gutting" them, but they shouldn't have been there (it was economic interference). There is very little for America (or the UK) to teach Russia (or Germany) about land war in Europe. However what I think the far-right in America have been doing is wage economic war against a competitor namely the EU. So far they've lost (relatively cheap) Russian: oil; gas; grain and fertilizer; there's another refugee crisis (after Libya) and while the globalists in the EU have gone along with the neocon plan, it's the EU largely picking up the bill (again). Militarily nuclear superpowers are known to have vast reserves; this one is more than self sufficient in food and energy (so economic sanctions just bounce off); they have superior missile technology; short supply lines; they haven't fully deployed (yet) and they have time on their side. So I don't see what the UK is doing sending Lord Cameron the weapons salesman (who should hang his head in shame; regarding Libya and Syria; but he's shameless); or diverting public money to weapons exports with: food banks; rising inflation and the energy cartel trying to put us in the poor house. The UK has supported American economic interest a number of times and it's a thankless task; while if the Senate "investment" was in Ukrainian grain and gas, that's lost, so they are unlikely to "invest" more. While the UK defense secretary (Grant Shapps?!) is not an asset he's a liability (needs to learn when to shut up) and while the Western powers talk about winning; it looks like Russia is making sure everybody loses (so how much you got?). The agreement between Ukraine and Russia was neutrality, or war (from Russia, with love). Time America stopped trying to play power games in Europe... shame about Ukraine... but they shouldn't have looked a gift horse in the mouth (not on America's insistence, they are users; who got burned this time).
