Well they need him, so that people like Greg look smart. I mean Greg interrupted the guy continually with little barbs (then claimed he was being interrupted ...lol), in between mugging at the camera; but Juan kept talking (which is quite a talent). The rest of the panel are clearly Republican party supporters, so it's 4 v 1 from the start and this proposed appointment has degenerated into tribalism; so forget: justice; or honest debate; or common sense to rule the day ... it is all about who is going to win; when actually everyone could lose (if they haven't already). The woman in purple does try to speak for all women, when really in cases of abuse they have to be dealt with on an individual basis. People can blot things out; they can have false memories or they might lie ... but while she talks look at Greg laughing (clearly this is a game to them). I don't think either the accused or the accuser are telling the whole truth; I sincerely doubt the FBI will find anything that contradicts all their previous investigations; particularly as it's a "cold case" being decades old and at the moment it's ten Democrats against/ eleven Republicans for which (for me) is quite revealing. If it goes to the senate to vote on the appointment and it splits down party lines; all I can say is America is in a dire condition. If Feinstein (Democrat) withheld these allegations to a politically convenient time for her and her party; she should be charged with obstructing justice. We now have two people with their careers destroyed, but it's not really about them, it's about winning at all costs (and the cost will likely be very high this time). Of course they need Juan ... or they'd all look like nodding donkeys (or should that be elephants?). Have a nice day!

@Jeremy No, of course they need him on the show. He's the fall guy; the one they can shoot down and if you want the job I believe it is very well paid indeed. Actually the whole lot of them are useful idiots ... it got us watching didn't it? The whole thing is politically motivate; it's not justice it's tribalism and it makes America look an ugly place. By the way; there is no "left" in America; both main parties are definitely right-wing; they both represent the rich and that's why everyone else is getting poorer.
