  1. By their reaction to the "whistle-blower": running, hiding their faces (or spitting) it's rather self evident. Since that's on camera we might reasonably expect there's proof too (but it's not a good idea to advertise how pickpockets commit theft). Wait? No they weren't waiting, seemed in a bit of a hurry to leave. If one wants revenge it has to be funny (just like that).
