  1.  @anupbhandari7052  UK workers (in the main) are obliged to pay tax (it's not them in question here, or who employs them); it wasn't about corporation tax, although some companies register elsewhere for tax purposes and the issue wasn't about nationality it was to do with residency and the claim the (ex) chancellor's wife doesn't live in the UK. Claiming "non-dom" status avoids UK tax; Sunak himself holding an American green-card (later giving it back after taking advice) is actually what he said and while all that may be dealt with in the small print somewhere, it looks rather odd. It's entirely up to a non-dom if they wish to pay UK taxes (she chose not to do so); where she lives is her business, but why would a UK chancellor apply for a work permit for America (unless he intended to "jump ship"?); I'm just saying that the UK electorate has been asked to give politicians the benefit of the doubt rather too often and that tolerance is wearing thin. Corruption is very corrosive; Johnson was not a credible PM; he couldn't even follow his own rules and the growing question was (and is) why should we? You may not be aware of this but the UK has become a two-tier society (one rule for the rich; another rule for the poor and the middle class are being eviscerated) and I would lay the blame for that at the door of Westminster. Does it not irritate you when millionaires tell you to tighten your belt while they receive rewards for abject failure? (It does me). So for 44 days in the job, good old Liz can retire on £110K pension (I've no sympathy); who the Tories nominate next is up to them; but I doubt millionaire politicians (and their sponsors) even understand what they have done to the UK. Are the Tories racist? They say they're not and it doesn't look it; but if you want to be PM it's better if you went to Eton (y'know, the place with charitable status).
