  1. Putin is dead? Well that is news, when's the funeral? Are you perhaps an impostor, (facts require evidence, independently verified) where is the real Prof Tim Wilson? I think you'll find the morality in Russia is similar to the UK, when homosexuality was illegal. How times have changed, but not in Russia (where everyone is officially heterosexual) and there is a "alternative culture" but it's advisable not to publicize it. You can still hold an LGBT rally in Moscow, but you are quite likely to get beaten up and jailed (it's an image thing). Before UK commentators get on their high horse, just remember what the UK establishment did to Alan Turing; while nowadays they can't even seem to distinguish between XX and XY chromosomes?!
