  2.  @acolli777  Yes, even the (Lib-Dem) policy of raising the tax-free threshold (the Tories claimed as their own) does absolutely nothing for the poorest. It's only a few quid for the richest, but suggests a form of class warfare (that has been going on for decades). It has been proved (twice) that "trickle down economics" doesn't work (the rich just keep the money; it's why they are called the rich), while high inflation and cuts to public services basically kills poor people. If it continues; history suggests this growing gap between rich and poor tends to lead to civil unrest; even civil war. Something to look forwards to...
