Russia is self sufficient in: oil; gas; grain and fertilizer; they have alternative markets in China and India; nobody (except tourists) use $/Rouble now, what a mistake the globalists have made, looks like the end of their New World Order... it was putting everyone (except a select minority) in the poor house. I won't miss it.

I wouldn't worry about his plans; all stocked up with fuel for the Winter I hope...

Russia has primary industry (raw materials: oil; grain etc); India has secondary industry (refineries etc) and China has tertiary industries (manufacturing) and steel, so they should be a pretty good fit. They've all got space and nuclear program; their own gps and social media; so it does look like the globalists exploitative "New World Order" is a failure.

Certainly not in the European direction; the American far-right have assured that through dollar sanctions and mysterious explosions; the E.U. has been cut off... The EU now buys Indian petroleum products, costs a bit more (just don't ask where they get the oil); where there's a will there's a way...

Hahaha... good one! America doesn't import Russian energy (or food), so the prices went up because the domestic suppliers could (and blame others); the government likes the tax.

With state funded health and education; low public transport costs; no homelessness and huge reserves of: oil; grain and troops; they are making the American government look, self serving; dull and greedy with it. Careful what you say about Xi, the Chinese are not as tolerant as Russia when people run their mouths off and I believe America owes them a lot of money. Not saying these Communist, or Socialist, countries are doing things a better way (wages are very low), but it does look like it as the rich get richer and the poor sleep on the streets. I doubt Russia wants the old USSR back; we can see what they want from the map, plus a neutral Ukraine (as previously agreed) and NATO missile bases off their border. I think that's what they want and if it takes a nuclear ultimatum I do believe the Russian nationalists are game. America needs to get out of Ukraine... and soon... they messed up.

With: state funded health and education; no homeless on the streets and very low cost public transport, Russia seem to care a lot more about people than the American "elite".

The Europeans have been pretty successful in cutting off Russian gas... BOOM! (and since they won't pay in Roubles, actually they got cut off; Peter Z putting a wee spin on that!?). Real shame about that massive ecological disaster; we can only hope the terrorist group responsible for attacking main-land Europe is found and... bang bang bang!

It's state controlled, so technically Putin owns it all. Yes, Russia is selling oil to India; they refine it and sell it to the EU; thus rendering the globalist's sanctions impotent. That oil and gas is just so popular it's not being traded in dollars as that's inconvenient.

No, the American led sanctions were related to use of the "petrodollar" which used to be the global reserve currency for energy transactions. E.U. companies could get ejected from SWIFT (exchange mechanism) if any part of transactions with Russia were expressed in dollars (even if only for a fraction of a second). Ukraine got to charge tariffs on Russian gas to the EU, they were so high alternative routes were constructed (which mysteriously blew up), but already Russia burnt off gas on the Finnish border because the E.U. wouldn't pay in Roubles. So actually what happened is the American far-right managed to cut E.U. energy (and grain and fertilizer) supplies, which I assume they hope to fill (at a price). Since it seems unlikely economic sanctions would affect a major oil and grain supplier; it looks very much like the plan was to "play" Europe (with another refugee crisis to deal with). Also the tag line "Putin puts up your gas prices" isn't true; America (0%) and UK (3%) put up prices because they could (and they like the increased tax take). Funny old game, innit?

@dyadyaB What's not true? The E.U. imports Indian petroleum products; okay it's made from Russian oil, but it can be purchased in dollars (with no sanctions). This is Indian oil and gas (at a price) or American LPG (at a price. As you say some European countries are highly dependent on foreign energy imports. Where there's a will there's a way; but I do think it's the E.U that is having to pay more; deal with a refugee crisis and I believe the far-right in America set out to dent or damage the E.U. They are still profiting from this conflict; using public money and Ukrainian lives, it's unhealthy. In short I agree; it's Russian oil and gas taking the "scenic route". But let's keep that a secret, okay?

Aye, from half way up a mountain... finger on the pulse that one (snarf).
