  47. @captain drama No one describes themselves as a drama fan. When a movie is labelled drama, its a movie true to life. See foreign films in general. Shit, dude. You also got Burning, Shoplifters, and Birds of Passage to see, among others from last year.

  49. @captain drama I went to TIFF and saw 10 movies. The ones absolutely worth seeing are Marriage Story, Uncut Gems, The Lighthouse, Waves, Dolemite Is My Name, and First Love. (Unfortunately, I didn't catch Parasite because it sold out. Based on literally everyone else's reaction, I'd say it's safe to say check it out.) Other than those, Hollywood is pretty great. It took me a second watch to fully appreciate it, as with most Tarantino films in my case. Climax is also great, but its kinda fucked up if that isn't your thing. Joker was great. Endgame was pretty good - the ending was great but everything before that was fine. Shazam was fun. Far from Home was good. Wby?

  50. @captain drama Oh ya I forgot about Ad Astra. That was something else. The Irishman should be pretty great. But please do check out the ones I mentioned as well. Especially Marriage Story and Uncut Gems, when they're released.

  51. @captain drama Paris Texas is great. Idk what to recommend on the spot. I guess make sure you've seen the majority of Stanley Kubrick films, and maybe check out Cries & Whispers.
