  1. It seems like you just said that Iron Man 3 is not a good film because people didn't get what they wanted out of it ie their expectations were different/were not met. Which is retarded. The idea is true, but it makes people look retarded. It implies that people will only think a movie is good if it meets their expectations, which means it holds no surprises, and just goes over the same grounds as many of the movies they had seen before did, and is faithful to whatever source material there is related to it. So Iron Man 3 is a bad movie, and people are retards.

  2. It was an unfaithful new take. It was also an unexpected twist, separating it from the others because just about every other MCU movie is predictable as fuck. It worked as a twist, at the expense of having an over-the-top villain who is supposed to be Iron Man's archenemy. Of course, no one gives a shit if they haven't read the comic. They can look at a movie without as much bias as people who have a strong connection to the source material.
