  33. Steven Campbell Tarantino is only a fantastic writer. He's a pretty good director. Same with the Coens. I love the Coens, but Kubrick is a better director. Scorsese isn't the greatest director to me, although his movies are great, because many times in the past he told his actors to adlib. Most of the time, he got a very well known quote out of them. But there could be a time when he's directing an actor who's shit at adlibbing.
