@lewisb73 One of two (the other being his Green Book buddy Charles B Wessler) who were primarily responsible for it. It was Wessler's pitch in the early 2000s to make a movie made up of several shorts, and Farrelly got involved not long after. While many people had co-producer credits and producer credits on the shorts individually, those two guys had producer credits over the entire film.
This might have been why Farrelly didn't get a director nomination, but both of them still won Best Picture and Farrelly still won Best Screenplay. Movie 43 didn't matter to them, or any of the other films that kind of stink like Dumb and Dumber To, The Three Stooges, Hall Pass, The Heartbreak Kid, Shallow Hal, etc.
Also, Sylvester Stallone got nominated for Creed. Between the first Rocky and Creed, he became a favourite at the Razzies. More so than Sandler, so why does he come out unscathed but Sandler does not? Are you sure its not because A24 didn't campaign enough?
