  13. Batman Begins was what you said it was, but also wasn't as well executed as The Dark Knight. Also, Katie Holmes' acting was just plain awful.

  14. The Dark Knight isn't pretentious. It's a touch overrated, but it's not pretentious and it's not worse than Batman Begins. It's a great film. Great acting. Beautiful sound and editing.

  15. for 1) I know what you mean but that doesn't make it relevant here Dark Knight wasn't a mess. I don't know why you say such. The actions are a result of the character. So if you say his actions weren't predictable, then his character is not predictable. How is the script pretentious? Explain. If The Dark Knight is good, is it that much of a "total mess"?
