The only aspects where Interstellar was better than 2001 were the sound and visuals, mainly due to them having been far more advanced in 2014. Also, if Interstellar hadn't ever been released, you would not think 2001 was overrated. Overratedness is not about making comparisons between films.

If it isn't, pretend that it is) twisted. They're still pretty fucking interesting. I mean, the laws of Amsterdam. That really helped me figure out the joke at the end of Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. And then some conversations were meant for laughs. I mean, nearly killing someone for touching the wife's feet? That was so fucked up it was funny. A lot of people say that this is better than GoodFellas and Casino too (if you're referring to both of them or just GoodFellas, don't know), and I am one of them. However, GoodFellas was pretty fucking close. I'm also pretty sure that Coppola created the gangster genre (The Godfather is a gangster movie, correct?). Martin Scorsese only made it a lot better by making GoodFellas, Casino, and The Departed, I guess.

Only so many movies gave me that feeling. But considering it's Metascore is 76 (that wouldn't make honour roll) and it's Tomatometer is 82 (just making honour roll), I wouldn't call it overrated

Inception was very surreal, considering most of the films made these days are either adaptations or bad original ideas. Schindler's List was black and white because of 1) it's depressing and 2) in the 40s when the film takes place, most films were black and white. That's what they did with Raging Bull as well.

The subsequent interviews were to develop both Clarice and Hannibal as characters. You're comparing it to Criminal Minds, even though Criminal Minds is trying to portray an accurate depiction of how the FBI works. The Silence of the Lambs is about Clarice Starling and Hannibal Lecter as characters, and secondary about Clarice hunting down Buffalo Bill.

Under the Skin surrounded by sheer boredom The Shape of Water literally on the short list for the worst movies in the history of movies especially. No it isn't.
