  10. dan theman It wasn't done to perfection. You don't even need the quality of the movie to know that. The original screenplay was changed so many times by Fox executives, David Fincher disowned it, went to a different company (New Line Cinema) to make his next movie, and even asked for all creative control when he was asked to make Steve Jobs (because of this, he wasn't hired). The movie was shit. And just because Aliens was an action movie does not make it a DIsney fair ground ride type of movie. When you make a sequel to a horror movie (and try to make it scary), it usually isn't good.

Obviously, you're gonna try and interject about this (something you know nothing about), as if you knew how I'd say certain things. And I didn't call her a child, I said what she did is childish. Knowing more about this series is irrelevant. It's what probably makes you like every movie in the series (if you do), including Alien 3. Alien 3 has a fan base. Every movie does. Anyhow, Alien and Aliens have more fans since they have better stories. Alien is considered a great horror movie and Aliens is considered a great action movie. Alien 3 is barely considered great in any way. The other guy said this was done. Since you jumped in out of nowhere and started talking, I think you should shut the fuck up and jump out out of nowhere.

  36. true, but think of if you saw it in theatres. Nolan's movies hadn't come out then, nor were they announced. No one knew who he was in 1998. When people walked out of the theatre, did they give credit to the movie for making WB remake the Batman franchise?

  38. Thomas Cosenza ya but isn't Revenge of the Fallen worse than Dark of the Moon? I mean, I'm pretty sure both didn't live up to the first one, but the third one could've lived up to the second one, if that makes sense.
