  1. "The entertainment industry" isn't "powerful positions." They're mostly starving creative types with a few Weinsteins leaching off them. Every time a celebrity says anything we tell them to shut up and even the rich ones have a tiny fraction of real influence.

  2. Grammies are almost always awarded for past work. What you described is literally how the grammies operate and always have, absolutely nothing even remotely unusual about that.

  3. Can you just admit why you want us to think they're evil? There's evil in every industry, it's the people on top with all the money who make the evil, yet we never do anything about that except give them tax breaks (while complaining about Rosie O Donnel or whatever).
