  26. The cost of the services you mention dwarfs the meagre aid you give Ukraine and Taiwan. Ukraine's literally getting old gear. Also, even protecting Taiwan and attempting to maintain tech hegemony plays into China's hands. Anybody can see the defence of Taiwan is about nothing other than corporate greed and the illusion of benefits to maintaining our empire. In the real world (the one based on "merit") everyone gets equal access to human knowledge and it's our values that allow us to thrive among honest competition.

  31. If the IDF cared about hostages they wouldn't repeatedly strike their most likely locations. Presumably prisoners from both sides will be swapped once Israel eventually accepts a ceasefire, should that ever happen.
