Israel has blocked every attempt at a two-state solution, and recent years have them electing politicians who take a harder stance against Palestinians. If that option is off the table, a one-state solution is what's left. Many Palestinians work in Israel, they don't want it to disappear. They just want to be able to live in their homes, something you probably take for granted. If you want a two-state solution, promote it. Otherwise, people will try to make the best of a bad situation.

I think he's a little biased here. A one-state solution doesn't necessarily mean Israel ceases to exist, it just won't be the same. He supports a two-state solution but doesn't really give an adequate reason why one state isn't acceptable. Boycotting seems to be the way to go, as Israel won't voluntarily do anything about the situation. I think if anybody attacks Israel, we should support them with our military, but we don't need to make them the dominant military/nuclear force in the region. Look at what that did to Iran, India, and Pakistan. Being a nation on Earth involves making friends with your neighbors. It's a fact of life. I'm tired of excuses for Israel. Bernie got this one not wrong, but only half right.

BDS advocates don't get to decide whether Israel opts for a one or two state solution, that's up to Israel. As for no Palestinian endorsements from institutions and leaders, I've never bothered to ask people from another country whether or not I should spend money there, that's my decision, and if I want to make it on moral grounds, who can tell me otherwise? As for the Right to Return, if someone invades my land and takes my home, if I have the deed to the property, they're in violation of law. Does Israel not have property laws? No courts? No such thing as theft? I love Chomsky, but sometimes he's just wrong. As for your fourth point on BDS, I can't control somebody's reaction to where I choose to spend my money, but it's still my choice. It's Israel's choice to pull more towards the right wing, just like it's their decision to do nothing about the occupation. So tell me again your objections to BDS? The ones you gave were silly.

No, Republicans and Democrats have committed so many crimes, once one person was jailed you'd see most of the rest of them go. They have an agreement to work together to do what corporations want, it would wreck everything they built. Biden won't go to jail, Trump won't go to jail.

Both sides have kind of a "gentleman's agreement" not to actually get the other side charged with crimes. That would see a bunch of arrests on both sides, and the public would lose confidence not just in the system, but specifically with Democrats and Republicans. Plus the Dems and Republicans work together to do whatever corporations and Wall Street want. Why rock the boat?

He was allowed to lie in property assessments, and allowed to dodge the rules when he "needed" to, due to his tendency to lose money. You and I lie to the taxman, what do you think happens? Joe is the better choice, for this reason: the left criticizes Democrats. Trump supporters won't criticize Trump. If Democrats want to win again they'll have to appease a pretty diverse group of voters who are more informed and active than ever. Trump could drop trou and poop on his fans faces, they'd still vote for him and swear he did nothing wrong. Honestly I wouldn't have allowed the celebrity takeover if I was conservative, it's just a slippery slope. What if the Democrats run Dwayne Johnson? He might win huge, but is it good for policy or democracy? Is the point to make a better country for your kids, or do you just want to win?

@IrrationalBstrd Way more to the story? Sure, Trump got an inheritance and spent it. That's Trump's entire life, right there. The Apprentice character was fictional, he doesn't hire or fire anybody. He's too afraid people will think he made a bad decision or the one being fired might ask for a valid reason. He plays golf and watches TV, and avoids creditors, that's it. If it wasn't for tax evasion he probably wouldn't have run. If Bernie and AOC are running the show, that's great. They're actually involved in politics, and work pretty hard. They'll need Congress and the Senate to pass anything, so you won't see anything crazy. You can't think of an actual reason Biden would be worse. Trump's ads are pretending Biden's the President, that's how bad Trump screwed up. This is "Biden's America." Like breaking the plumbing after taking a massive dump and blaming the guy walking into the bathroom.

He tried to bribe 3 different countries, then sent Giuliani to Ukraine to collect the dirt. Why do you think he sent a private citizen, with a clear bias, to "investigate?" Conservatives are just as big on cancelling as liberals, you get nowhere on that one. Plus, I can no longer boycott? What happened to freedom of ideas or expression? Plus, people talked trash about Trump long before the Presidency. I can't ever recall thinking he was anything other than a spoiled child. When he started getting mad at the black guy for being more popular, it was a definite sign his ego is the only part of him actually participating. Yeah, they're all in the same club, but as I said Trump doesn't give a shit about anything. He didn't even start the "wall" until he got pressured and shamed into it. He got the tax cuts done because it benefited him and Republicans pushed for it. They've pushed for nothing else and you've pushed for nothing else, so Republicans know they're safe doing nothing. No Democrat seat is safe because a progressive could take it at any time, and progressives don't waste time hob-nobbing with the elite. Biden isn't a better person, he's the better choice.

No, the report says Donald's campaign screwed up, that's why people were jailed. It just couldn't be proved Trump was smart enough to know this was happening. In retrospect it should have been obvious he was too stupid to notice what was going on.

Comey sent a letter to Congress October 28th, saying the FBI "learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation." The percentage shift in her lead cost HRC 4 -6 states that were close races. It's not the only reason she lost, but Comey did his part accidentally or otherwise. It's a big part of the reason the Hunter Biden stuff is tough to air on liberal networks. Outfits like the New York Times jumped on the emails thinking they'd get good coverage of Hillary's first scandal, whether it panned out or not, the story was the top news item in the days leading to the election. You don't hear about it too much because liberal media and Democrats don't enjoy admitting culpability, especially when the name of the game for Clinton was blaming progressives.
