  27. It costs way more than 2 weeks of pay to train new guys, especially if ICE is watching you so you need all locals.

  28.  @FREDNAJAH  Even the dumbest labor jobs pay for training. By "paying" I mean these guys make about the same wage whether they've been doing it a week or ten years. If they've been doing it a week, they suck at it so they cost more than their peers with experience. Again, same problem. If you kill your employees, new employees cost more.

  33. That's up to America, frankly. Stopping the war on drugs would go a long way. Not outsourcing labor to nearby countries would help a lot (for example clothing manufacture). Paying the actual price for goods like meat, instead of being cheap. Stop subsidizing business in order to "win" on foreign trade. Simple stuff.

  40.  @queenme7401  With the number of officials who need to visit construction sites it's basically impossible they don't know about foreign workers. They just arrest a few every once in a while for optics, most employers will never be in trouble for it. Even Trump extensively used foreign workers for years, he still came out of it very rich and with a positive reputation.
