Anybody else think OP lied for attention? I've never heard of any city or town called "nearby" for starters. Then the unnecessarily elaborate story about a boy and his dad, followed by "which would've resulted in a terrible accident" when anyone can see the bus was moving real slow and nobody was in danger. Besides the driver. And then there was an award and a speech and you were touched. I'm surprised the President didn't bestow the highest honor on you for relaying this wonderful stuff that clearly happened.

@connorcornwall1404 Not saying it didn't happen. It's the OP's story with the shady details that makes me think they're lying for attention.
