An upgraded M4 Sherman is probably better

@Edp It is battle tested and a very reliable tank. It was the best tank in world war II, where 49.000 was built. And it is cheaper to upgrade a tank than to build a new one. And it is safer to stick with a good tank that you know works than trying something untested. You can put a 120mm gun on a sherman and some extra armor and it will be just as good as any modern tank, but cheaper.

@Edp Yugoslavia built shermans with 122mm guns that worked fine so then would a 120mm gun be no problem either. And if sherman was so bad, then why did they build so many of them? Maybe because they were really good?😏
