  1. mi24 is good, but I guess I rather have apache for ground attack. I also think that there are limits on how much armour one can put on a helicopter.. I mean stopping rifle bullets can be good, but beyond that I think it is useless to trying to armour a helicopter because there are so many different weapons that could shot down a helicopter with ease - a RPG, a gun, a minigun, a SAM. Helicopters are light and weak and cannot carry much load. Its simply better to just avoid getting hit in the first place... so without having any knowledge about helicopters I would guess that staying out of firing range is a good first step to safety. Avoiding detection for as long as possible is also a good thing. And having lots of speed is also good so the enemy doesn't get much time to shot the helicopter down before it dissapears.
