Its like all large music styles I guess. Rock music includes almost anything these days, and there is a large variation within jazz music - jazz by white people and jazz by black people, modern jazz and old jazz. And same goes with military music, where some even include concert marches such as Colonel Bogey, Radetzky march, and Einzug der Gladiatoren as a military song despite their lack of strong rythm, while old school hardcore Prussians would just bridle at the idea of trying to march while listening to that thing. Other people might include military music in classical music, but I don't. I like real military music made by composers such as Gottfried Piefke. But most classical music is just pretty boring in my opinion. Of course does the arrangement matters too, since a great band can play a bad song with such a strong performance and so much groove that this bad song becomes enjoyable to listen to. And the opposite is true as well, a great song can just be awful to listen to when its played by shitty musicians.
