  1. They acted careful to not trigger a nuclear war. And it is easy to say things in hindsight. And political and military leaders do probably have more complex things to take into account than just sit in the audiance and write drastic comments/solutions to various problems. So I would not judge the leaders too harshly for acting carefully and methodically forward instead of doing everything in one big blow. However, 2 years has past and I wish things could go a little bit faster.

  2. Indeed. Let's stick togheter. And bit by bit can the world become more democratic, country after country. I do not believe that decision making in democracies are particulary smart. Nor do I deny that some dictators like Park Chung Hee, Frederick the Great and the dictators in todays China have made their countries rich and powerful. But in the end do I think that everyone wants to live in freedom and not in fear and opression. So a democratic world is better in that regard.
