Jesus was a jew. But he wanted to do a bunch of "updates" to this religion which many jews disliked. Some were good updates. And some were bad. Regardless what one thinks was he jew. And he says so himself in the Bible.

I guess it is hard for artists to make a monument that do this historical event justice and presenting it in a beautiful worthy way so that visitors who had their families murdered can feel honored. I think this place have succeed in doing so.

I will not care for Israel until it cares for Ukraine.

I don't think that museums can replace each other. Rather do their collections complement each other. You almost make it sound like I should only go to Israel if I am a religious fundamentalist. 😂😂 Personally I am an atheist and do not care much about the holy sites, neither Christian, jewish, or muslim. Israel is however a historic place with places worth a visit. Not just the Roman sites but antique places in general. I would also want to visit an IDF museum if I would go to Israel, since this army have the most impressive track record of any army post world war II. People can think what they want about the state of Israel and the moral actions of the army.. but I do not care about that. I admire the skill of its army which could defeat much stronger enemies both in 67 and in 73. I have never been to a holocaust site. But I think I would visit one in Israel even if I had been to Auschwitz and Treblinka. Because as I said earlier - museums complement each other. I am a bit of a history nerd so it makes sense that I would to build my knowledge from as many perspectives as possible, so visiting as many museums as possible makes sense to me. Lastly do I agree with you that Israel is the home the jews because it is your home. I think the jews are doing themselves a disservice by putting nearly 100% of their identity upon the heritage of the holocaust. Jewish history is so much more than that. Maybe this statement is controversial? I don't know. I am not a jew.
