  2. Communist? nah. But I give you that he is anti-American, and "Russia first" kind of a guy. John McCain was not my favorite politician, but I would never insult a veteran the way that Trump did.

  3. You are right on the economics. But I think this ad is more pointing out that the man that was a right-wing idol had a completly other stance on russia. Personally I prefered Eisenhower and Nixon over Reagan. But I guess few people can relate to those men far back in time.

  4.  @davidmacleod9313  I was more talking about people in general. People are not much well read in history. And I suspect Trumps voters are not that well read in particular. So relating to more recent history with Reagan would make more sense than other GOP presidents. I see this ad as a good thing. Trump won his election victory much thanks to the civil war in the democratic party with Hillary vs Bernie Sanders. And Trump managed to win with a slim margin. So if Trump gets a civil war in the republican party, then I think this could ruin his chances to win the election. And I guess that could also mean the end of the MAGA movement, as there are no name that can replace Trump. Trump is becoming too old to ever run for president again. And his natural choice as successor would have been Tucker Carlson, but after his pathethic simp interview with Putin he might have ruined all his chances by now.

  6. Americas justified anger on Europe was mostly targeted against Germany. But Germany has redemened itself I think. It now pays it fair share, it have changed its energy policy, it is the largest weapons donor to Ukraine now when USA have checked up.
