Me neither. If I wanted to explore titanic I could just as well do it through a remote controlled submarine without risking my own life. And frankly, there are many more interesting ships in this world than Titanic.

Its a bit more scary to die deep under water. At least that is what I and many others think. And this way of dying is a bit unusual. And I think it highlight a much needed debate - why should ordinary people pay rescue operations for other peoples stupid hobbies?

I agree. The company should pay every cent of the rescue operation. If you have a stupid hobby that requires rescue ships and submarines, or helicopters flying up to mountain tops - then you should pay for it yourself.

Well ships have life boats, they have transponders, submarines can give away pings so that other ships can know where they are so they can find them and help them. But this ship had nothing. Which I consider to be totally irresponsible. You pay 250K dollars and you cannot even get a damn transponder for your ship? And aside from that do you have to open this ship from the outside, so if this little boat lay on the surface is there still a high risk that the men inside soon will die because they cannot get out from it, as the boat can only be opened and closed from outside. This entire ship is a death trap, and the men inside it are as dumb as the construction of this little boat. They did choose to take a trip with this boat despite they knew that it was very risky. And they paid much money for it as well.
