Well, in fairness to Macron and the government nanny state, if the government is expected to provide everything for you, your migrants, and your world-saving environmental programs, don't be surprised when they want to take everything in return... it's what socialists do. And since there are no borders, you can expect armed foreigners to march into your country and force you to like it. Maybe nationalism isn't such a bad thing after all.
