  1. Accusing people of not doing anything to fix the problem?  Really?  Suggestions include arming teachers, "No, that's a stupid idea"; having armed officers on site, "No that creates the wrong atmosphere"; stronger bulletproof doors and barriers, "No, that's too much like prison";  detaining violent/ mentally unstable kids, "No, they have civil rights";  teaching students to fight back, "What? Fight back? Are you insane?"   So, it's really not about not doing anything... it's about not doing what YOU want them to do.
