  1. Wait.... huh? Wasn't he just saying recently that Afghanistan had a well trained and well equipped army that the Taliban couldn't beat? Wasn't he dismissing the premise that Afghanistan could collapse or might resemble Saigon when it fell? Why is he now talking out of the other side of his face?
