  1. It seems that Australia is just acting as a barometer of the world regarding populist politics. The general public have neither the education nor the willingness to understand what needs to be done to make a society. Therefore are happy to leave it to others. The inherent problem with this is that those that do possess these attributes are usually schooled in an ideology. What that ideology dictates is what becomes the governance of the masses. It seldom matters what the ideology is, because if unchecked it will move towards its own extreme. Left or right wing extremes all meet at authoritarianism.
