Surely inclusivity means not distinguishing between identity groups. As soon as you differentiate you close the inclusivity door and open the bi-fold terrace door to discrimination.

ELAINE. This country used to teach kids to have respect for elders, other's property and rights and to be polite. Restore those values and things will improve. British manners were what set us apart.

@teresahall8762 But what do they know od Islam? Most people, including Muslims know virtually nothing correct about Islam. It is the most rigourously yet incorrectly followed religion. Many Renaissance Muslim scholars returning from sojourns in Europe, remarked how the so called, infidels of Europe just naturally behaved in the way that over 1000 years of Islam had failed to impose on born Muslims. Make of that what you will.

@teresahall8762 The word Sharia is the anglicised spelling of the Arabic word for law. It is not Sharia Law it is just Sharia. What you said was law law. This is probably an example of the limitations of your knowledge on every subject. You only know the headlines but have never read the article. Ignorance is not an attribute that you should proudly display.

@benphilips9918 I am not entirely sure that we have a Christian heritage. That religion is one of the Middle Eastern traditions. However, what the English used to have is a tradition of good manners. I would be perfectly happy to live with infidels, atheists and people of any religion, if they A. Keep it and any other private things, to themselves and B. Have a set of principles that included politeness and consideration for others. Yes, this is a principle of most religions and if you feel the need to have some fairy stories and mythological entities to prop up your feeble sense of self, then with my blessings go buy a bible, Quran or whatever story book your mummy used to read you. I would prefer that we just grow up and behave like independently minded adults.
