  1. The Union flag represents the United Kingdom. The stars and stripes represents USA etc. The union flag cannot be synonymous with Nazi Germany. Just for the benefit of all the historically illiterate people, the UK along with our allies, fought against the Nazis and what they stood for. Ask the survivors of Nazi pogroms, if they feel that a sea of union flags, trigger memories of their persecutors or of their rescuers. If you do not want to see our national flag in thisc particular nation, best option would be to avail yourself of one of our many ports of exit, and never come back. This will ensure you never see that again. Do however, send us a post card from wherever you settle and keep us informed of how that country treats you, when you start insulting their national symbols. Quick spoiler alert. Most people in the world will be upset if you start slagging off their country.

  2. I think everyone should fly a flag now. Just to show solidarity. Hopefully anyone that is traumatised by this display of Britishness, their heads will explode and we will be able to cut down on arse ache medicine.
