  1. I think the problem is the neither of the main parties repesent the majority of the electorate. I have been a member of the Labour party, I even went on the campaign trail to the 97 victory. I have to say that the pandering that took place both to the floating voters who are literally just interested in issues that affect them, and to some of the more ideological factions of the party; made many of the traditional Labour members and voters, very uncomfortable. What the Tory party has become now should be having the same effect on their traditional voters too. There was a time when a left leaning Tory and a right wing Labour politician could find little to argue about. We all want fairness just with different methodology. What we have now is a bunch of toffs some with strong ties to corrupt foreign countries, turning us into a dictatorship. Or in opposition a good line up, with good ideas, but no experience, and no declaration to outlaw the extremes of wokism. I feel that traditional Tories traditional Labours and floating voters now have no solid representation. I would rather have an inexperienced labour government than Heir Sunak any day. In honesty neither are ideal.
