Take back the money paid to former slave trading families, give it back to British tax payers, descendants of former slaves and special bonuses to the descendents of Navy personnel that risked their lives to free slaves. While we are at it get compensation from the descendants of the Barbary pirates. Limit the claims to the nobs and Royals that made the money. Give it back to the common folk affected. We will all get enough for a coffee from Starbucks. I think there ought to be a few statues in the Caribbean, in thanks and gratitude to the many working class, formee serfs, that served in the Navy, for ending the slave trade in the 19 century. Perhaps some of the Caribbean people could get over to Africa and Asia and tell anyone actively involved in slavery to stop.
