The point is that the poor people that genuinely require our help will not get it, if criminal gangs are flooding us with chancers and thieves. We have always been a compassionate nation but those that mistake kindness for stupidity please beware.

@garrywynne1218 I feel sorry for any poor sod in a war zone but we know most of the time they are not in any real danger. I lived in Mexico City for many years and I was asked to accommodate a lad from Syria. He was a top bloke and we became good friends. He had his dad in Cairo, where my wife is and we met there a few years later. He ended up being offered asylum in USA or Netherlands, on my advice he chose Netherlands and he is doing very well there. England needs to sort out this issue. If people wanting to come just have a job waiting they could come legally, if not then put them on a flight home.

@garrywynne1218 We the people always pay for the errors of banks and politicians. The problem is that the illegal immigrants are sold a dream by these traffickers. That they will be greeted by the man from the government with a bag of money and a limo to take them to their free house. Our government has not done much to stop this. I have a wife outside the uk and the legal process is expensive and complicated. We would not consider illegal immigration, as we are honest people. Another group that always pay for the misdeads of others.
