@danielmorris6584 They were though.
1
@mitchellperry8809 That’s one of their roles in nature.
1
@bricehenry1223 Native species don’t damage ecosystems.
1
@emim3041 Ever heard of “ lying”?
1
Why claim balanced ecosystems aren’t a benefit?
1
@Maxx995 Wolves are a native species.
1
@em34ev3r At least the don’t damage the ecosystem, though.
1
@djpoolservice Explain how wolves in zoos are supposed to help the natural ecosystem?
1
@djpoolservice Wolves belong in the wild, since they’re wild animals.
1
@DoubleDogDare54 Wolves have been in what is now Wisconsin for millions of years. And why do you claim there are no large ungulates there?
1
@DoubleDogDare54 The ecosystem needs wolves.
1
@DoubleDogDare54 So, in nature reserves and National parks, they’re ok? And I’ve yet to see a scientist who agrees with you.
1
@DoubleDogDare54 Yellowstone proves you wrong.
1
@bricehenry1223 buffalo are natural, cows are not.
1
@bricehenry1223 Tell that to the scientists studying wolves, they know much more than you.
1
@bricehenry1223 Wolves aren’t vermin in nature reserves.
1
@cameronsipka3352 He thinks “propaganda” is a synonym for “scientifically proven facts” and “vermin” means “a species that plays a vital role in the ecosystem”.
1
@WAgunfun So, they aren’t a problem in nature reserves/national parks.
1
@Maxx995 They don’t destroy the ecosystem.
1
@GreatOldOne9866 Care to explain how a species that’s been living in an area for thousands of years is invasive. Fact: despite your claim, it’s impossible for a species to be both native and invasive at the same time.
1
@GreatOldOne9866 A species can’t be both native and invasive at the same time.
1
@GreatOldOne9866 Have wolves been there for thousands (if not millions) of years?
1
@GreatOldOne9866 Humans protect African wild dogs and rhinos in Africa, and tigers and red pandas in Asia. So, going by your logic, those four species are also invasive.
1
@GreatOldOne9866 If a species has been in an area naturally for at least several thousand years, it is native. This proves wolves are native. So, you saying wolves aren’t native and then claiming they’ve been there for thousands of years is a complete contradiction.
1
@GreatOldOne9866 The scientists say the wolves are native, which proves they’re native.
1
@GreatOldOne9866 OK, then, since you claim to be a scientist: give me at least one peer-reviewed paper you wrote.
1
@GreatOldOne9866 Also, you literally did say that if a species is protected by conservation, it is invasive.
1
@GreatOldOne9866 The scientists are trustworthy sources. Proof: their information is based on research.
1
@GreatOldOne9866 The fact wolves have been there for thousands of years makes them native. Again: despite your previous claim, a species can’t be both native and invasive at the same time.
1
Government sites aren’t scientific papers.
1
@bensonelectric I want to see the real facts, and I know Steve is wrong.
1
@bricehenry1223 Why do you claim balanced ecosystems aren’t a benefit?
1
@crisitansardina9595 “that can wipe anything” that’s one of their roles in the ecosystem.
1
@WAgunfun They don’t decimate all ecosystems.
1
@johntoothman4888 the fact they’re back means they are again. Wolves belong there, they’re supposed to be there,
1
@johntoothman4888 how? They are native.
1
@GreatOldOne9866 Well, wild animals are important to the ecosystem, humans are not,
