  6.  @yg2522  - I feel that the Democrats want a degree of redistribution at an individual level. Yet when a crisis hits, both left and right are happy to accept government subsidies. Look at the current President who is rolling out protectionist policies, which are a de facto subsidy from consumers to corporations.
