  1. Does she really need to be removed from the USA for what she did? She did a few tasks in exchange for a few days room and board as part of a backpacking trip. It's what people do all over the world. And why detain her? She was actually trying to leave the country.

  2. ​ @JoeyTheSinic people who haven't broken any laws have ended up in ICE detention. I just don't think it is worth the risk to travel to the US at the moment until things cool down a bit. I think that they will in about 6 months, but at the moment, the whole atmosphere is too febrile.

  3. @BugJuiceFlavor  - how about just reminding her that working for no pay is actually a violation of her visa, crazy as it sounds, so ask her not to do again or else she will risk a time in detention.

  6. ​ @terrymeehan7787 law is a tool used for law enforcement. Doing a few tasks in exchange for for food and a bed for a few days is hardly work.
