  2.  @Akeshane Japan has apologised on multiple occasions - correct. However, it has always been half-hearted and insincere. And this is shown by how the matter is treated in school and the lack of remorse shown by people (and spending far more time saying that they had said sorry previously rather than actually saying sorry). While the Japanese alive today are not personally to blame, it is a stain on Japan.
