@Hesusio Fortunately the flat earthists are mostly harmless. Let's hope they keep their hands off of the levers of government where they could do serious damage with making up new shipping routes and flight paths. But imagine if we were in a world where it was impossible to be become President of the USA without prescribing (or pretending) to flat earth theory. Imagine if flat earth theory became utterly wedded to normal discourse. That would be taking us mentally back to the middle ages. Which is where many religious fundamentalists would take us. Fundamentalist theism hurts science, medicine, education, personal choice, sexual orientation. And all for something that doesn't exist.

@jmerlo4119 I have judged for myself. Your argument is "I see matter therefore God created it" - nothing more. And then you say something without real meaning, such as everyone agreeing that consciousness cannot be produced by the brain. Of course consciousness is a product of the brain - all but a few cranks believe otherwise.
