I think it is worth highlighting that the "not economically viable" guy is black - black people were (are?) regulaarly excluded from economic participation on grounds that appeared to correlate with their skin colour. And while I have always liked this film, blowing shit up because you had a bad day is not normal - he had a breakdown, but was faced with what many of face every day. When your first victim is a Korean corner shop owner, and you then move on to minimum wage burger workers, you are attacking others at the bottom - and lower than him in the social order. It is also not suprising that this has become a favourite among the American MAGA right.
